The Barbados Bridge League is the controlling body of organized Bridge on the island and has its own dedicated building and headquarters. It carries the name of the late Jimmy Cozier one of the island’s iconic sports writers who was a driving force in the early days of the League.

You can play Bridge most nights and there are numerous competitions throughout the year, including the famous Sun, Sea and Slams Tournament that attracts plays from all over the world. It is held at Divi Southwinds Beach Resort in November and has been running for over 22 years. Last year a Barbados team travelled to Cuba to compete in the regional competition and just lost out to Guadeloupe in the final.

The Bridge League is renowned for its friendly atmosphere and laidback culture.
