EVENTS: Boys & Girls Under 12, 14, 16 & 18 - Singles & Doubles

MATCHES WILL BE PLAYED
April 2 and 3, 2022 (weekend)- starting between 8am and 4pm
April 1st and 4-7, 2022 - staring between 3 and 6 pm
April 8 - 14 2022 (non-school days\week-ends) - starting between 8am and 4pm
PLAYERS MUST BE AVAILABLE TO PLAY 2 MATCHES PER DAY ON WEEKENDS OR NON-SCHOOL DAYS

FEES: $40 for all events entered – see Age Groups below.

ENTRIES TO: All entries must be submitted using this GOOGLE ENTRY FORM by the entry deadline. No telephone entries will be accepted. All entries must include a valid cell number to be used as the main contact number. On successfully completing the GOOGLE ENTRY FORM you will receive an email auto-response confirming receipt. The person completing the form must be an authorized parent or guardian of the player.

PLEASE RESUBMIT THE COMLETED FORM IF THERE ARE ANY CHANGES AFTER INITIAL ENTRY.

AGE GROUPS:
Players must be at least 10 years of age on the first day of play in order to participate in Under 14.
Players must be at least 12 years of age on the first day of play in order to participate in Under 16.
Players must be at least 13 years of age on the first day of play in order to participate in Under 18.
Players may enter a maximum of 4 events in Singles or Doubles which must be in 2 continuous age groups.

Subject to the above, all Players may enter a maximum of 4 events in Singles or Doubles in 2 continuous age groups.

ENTRY DEADLINE: WEDNESDAY MARCH 30, 2022 at 6pm (for singles & doubles).
Players must pay the correct entry fees and any outstanding subscriptions prior to playing their 1st match.

BARBADOS TENNIS ASSOCIATION - MEMBERSHIP: All Juniors MUST be financial members of the Barbados Tennis Association to take part in this tournament. New members must submit membership applications and fee at the time of entering the tournament.

TIMES OF PLAY: Matches will COMMENCE on weekends (and days with no school) between 8am & 5pm (and on week-days between 3:00 & 6:15pm).

Players who have matches scheduled on the first day will be informed by whatsapp the night before. Communication will be via the cell phone number on their entry form. The Order of Play (OOP) will be provided by whatsapp (BROADCAST group) by 9pm each night showing the schedule\OOP for the next day, and the TENTATIVE schedule\OOP for the following day. The onus is on parents\players to ensure they receive the daily whatsapp broadcast or contact the Tournament Director by whatsapp on 231-4992.

Players must request permission, prior to the start of the tournament, from M-J Symmonds for consideration by the Tournament Committee, for any time which they are unable to play. Exceptions will only be made if players are available the majority of time including on all weekend days

RANKING & RULES : This tournament will be an official Barbados Tennis Association ranking tournament. In addition to the Fact Sheet, the ITF Junior Rules and Code of Conduct will be enforced. The 15 minute default rule will be enforced.
