This weekend saw 35 of the best Dressage riders turn out at Congo Road Stables in St Philip for the annual Cargo BGI/Southern Palms Caribbean Equestrian Association Dressage Challenge to via for places on the Barbados Team representing the island in the overall Caribbean competition.
 
International Judge, Cesar Torrente said ‘I am overwhelmed at the high level of performance I saw in Barbados, I have not been here for over 3 years and the improvement is enormous!”
 
On Saturday the riders took tests at various levels from beginners right up to Grand Prix performed by our own Roberta Foster on Chichic, who along with Mackenzie Manning on Ruveyda are hoping to qualify for the Central American and Caribbean Games taking place in 2023.  
 
Sunday saw the highest number of freestyle tests performed by the riders.  Ranging from Intermediate 1 to Introductory.
