Josh Burke

Since January 2014 Josh Burke has been traveling competing in Hawaii at the ASP North shore Junior Pro at sunset beach Hawaii in the largest waves ever for a junior event 15-20ft Josh has represented Barbados at the ISA World Junior surfing games in Ecuador and was invited by his sponsor Billabong to compete and do product appearances/signings at the 11th annual Steel Pier Classic in Virginia Beach.
 He won the Open Mens division and placed 4th in the Mens s pro. In June Josh surfed his way into two finals explorer Mens and explorer juniors and a quarter finals finish in the premier division open Mens. He traveled to Tahiti for 2 weeks with Billabong to train at the most dangerous wave in the world; Teauhpoo and to shoot for the upcoming Surfing Magazine Grom Movie.
 Josh is currently in California where he became the first Barbadian surfer to qualify for the US open of surfing ASP Mens Jr. He leaves California on August 4th to tour the US East Coast for the Rip Curl Gromsearch events in Florida and North Carolina, along with the ASP events in Virginia Beach, OBX North Carolina and Belmar New Jersey returning home in September.
