I.S.K.F. Barbados will play host to Shihan James Field 8th Dan on August 30th. To Sept. 1st Sensei Field is no stranger to the Caribbean, he is Jamaican by birth, but has lived most of his life in the USA. Shihan James Field is the Vice Chairman of the I.S.K.F. technical committee, and his Karate experience spands over 48 yrs. Shihan Field is one of the most senior and experienced American Instructors. With a very successful reputation and career as a competitor for many years, he captained the US International Karate Team; he is a many times National Collegiate Champion, two-time National Grand Champion, two-time Pan-American Champion and medalist in the 1976 World Tournament. As one of the first four Americans certified as JKA Instructors, Shihan Field has a lot of knowledge and his classes will cover all the aspects of Shotokan Karate, with his fondness for Kumite (Sparring) students can look forward to many ideas to help them in their development, so we eagerly look forward to his presence here in Barbados.

 This training clinic is open to all Shotokan Karatekas regardless of affiliation. Training times are; Thursday & Friday- 6.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m Beg to purple. 7.00 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. Brown & Black.

Saturday – 9.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. Beg. To Orange. 10.00 to 11.00 Green to Black. 11.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. Brown & Black continue.

Saturday – 3.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. Beg. To Purple 4.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. Brown & Black.
