Our School U17 rugby team is coming to play in  Barbados in July. The School was founded in 1379 in the Church of St. Peter & St. Paul in Wisbech. The School has since moved to The North Brink in Wisbech. One of our Old Boys is Thomas Clarkson. The School is for boys and girls age 4 to 18. Both the boys and girls play Rugby. This is the Schools fourth tour to Barbadso. The first time was in 2002, when we played in the Sir Garfiel Sobers Cricket Festival. In 2007, we came back with boys to play Cricket and Hockey. Our 3rd tour was in 2009 when we brought boys and girls to play rugby, hockey, cricket and netball. We played against Barbados U19 Rugby in a three match series 2009. We also brought a girls U17 who played Sevens Rugby.

This year we are playing rugby at the Garrison against Barbados Schools, Trinidad, and Datchworth. The girls will also be playing sevens.
As well as the rugby the boys are playing hockey and cricket. With the help of Mrs. Kath Stewart we are trying to arrange a floodlit Cricket game at the UWI ground. The girls will also play Hockey as well as Netball.
Our tour party is looking forward to coming to Barbados on July 5 and the staff particularly myself and my wife who were married in Barbados in 2003. Several people have helped us make the arrangements and we have been very fortunate to have the assistance of Mr. Wendell Coppin, who was our School Cricket Professional from 1995 to 2002.
